Features

  • 59 new "Townstead," apartments
  • Nine floor plan choices. The floor plans, named after figures from Lancaster history – Lydia Smith, John Reynolds, Jacob Eicholtz, Susanna Wright and others – will range in size from 850 square feet to 1,710 square feet.
  • Twenty-eight of the units will be 1,245 square feet, with two bedrooms and two baths.
  • Each apartment will have a fully-equipped kitchen with a choice of standard or upgraded appliances, stacked washers and dryers, walk-in closets, balconies, and bathrooms with "European" showers.
  • Further upgrade options include granite counter tops, maple or cherry cabinetry, hardwood or ceramic tile flooring, custom closet organizers, electric fireplaces, and more.
  • The overall design of the new construction will be on five floors, allowing for short hallways and easy access to dining and other community spaces.
  • The first 30 apartments are projected to be completed in 2013. The second phase, to be completed in 2014, will include 32 apartments and a new auditorium.
